Individual trees become forests shadows become our projections. In the Darkness our sense of sight is limited to the cone of the artificial light source shifting our attention to the other senses. Constantly we build worlds out of the things surrounding us and their relation to each other. We select and weigh them and let them collide with our carefully curated assemblance of memories. In the dark the number of external things accessible is reduced and our own inner projection becomes more dominant, surfacing the arbitrariness and softness of the building process. The outcome is the attribution of foreign or familiar to the environmental stimuli. «Frugal Forest» addresses the in-between.
